Sarah has always had a love for animals and knew from a young age that Veterinary Medicine was her career field of choice. After receiving her BS in Veterinary Technology from North Dakota State University, she started working for Golden Valley and Greenbrier Animal Hospitals in the summer of 2018. Sarah loves seeing the human-animal bond in action and gets a great deal of satisfaction from being able to help an animal through an illness as well as throughout their life.
Sarah moved around the country as a young child, but spent most of her childhood growing up in Brooklyn Park, MN where she still resides with her family. She has spent some time volunteering at the Animal Humane Society and has also worked with large farm animals during her internship for tech school. Sarah was also very active in the Vet Tech Club while in school and was the club’s historian.
Sarah has a few pets at home which include two dogs, Annabelle the yorki/cavalier mix and Emma the yorki/shih tzu/maltese mix, cat, Fiona, Guinea Pig, Pete and snake, Louis. She enjoys binge watching tv with her sister, and trying to be scared by horror movies.
