What to expect during your pet’s first visit.

Prior to your first visit, our team will send you a link to the New Client Registration Form that will need to be completed in order for us to add you and your pet to our database.  If you have any medical records for your pet, please email those to us prior to your visit as well.

Upon arrival at the clinic, our friendly team will greet you and your pet in our lobby and confirm the reason for your visit.  They will then ask you a series of questions about your pet’s health and make recommendations for any treatments or vaccines that should be considered during that visit.  After your pet has been checked in, another team member will escort you and your pet to one of our exam rooms.  Your pet will be allowed to roam the room to get comfortable with these unfamiliar surroundings.  The doctor will then come to the room and examine your pet from nose to tail and discuss everything they’re seeing with you, making recommendations along the way.  After confirming with you what treatments should be performed during this visit, one of our Certified Veterinary Technicians will come to the room to collect any samples or perform any procedures needed.  If any medications are needed, they will go over the instructions on administering those medications and you will be excused back to the reception area to schedule any future appointments and to get checked out for the visit.

What Our Clients Say…

I have gone to Greenbrier for many years. I have a cat and used to have a Nanday Conure. They take the time to explain what is going on with my pet and what is the best course of action. My bird got sick and they tried everything including calling the San Diego zoo for advice. When nothing seemed to help him they showed great compassion when they recommended putting him to sleep. I cried…they sent me a sympathy card with all their signatures. They are indeed vets with heart . Thank you for your compassion and kindness.

I’ve had nothing but good experiences here. The staff is friendly and professional. Not all vets will see rabbits, but Greenbrier does and they’ve been great to my two bunnies! They’ve even followed up when I had to take Sophia to an emergency after-hours vet. They truly do care. And they have a a welcome sign with the names of each pet coming in that day. A nice touch!
